The Man Who Took Last
As promised I would like to continue to try and convince you ALL to participate in the CrossFit Open. I have an article that I would like you to read that is truly inspiring. If you can read this and not get pumped to hit your next WOD then maybe you should check your pulse, because you might be on the verge of death. It is that awesome. These stories are the reason why Dana, Ben, Landon, Maria and myself absolutely LOVE what we do. Please read this one you wont regret it.
I took last place in the CrossFit Open
Pretty amazing stuff huh?!
Now, onto todays awesomeness. Today we will be practicing a few of the movements that you will almost definitely be seeing in the open this year: Snatches and Double Unders. I know that a few of your hearts might have just sank when you read that last sentence but the harsh reality of it is that they WILL be introduced at some point. We are taking plenty of time to go over the snatch in great detail and really hammering in some technique work. During the skill portion today make sure that you keep it LIGHT. We want to make sure that your positioning is on point before we start loading up to a heavier weight.
