Hey everyone, don't forget about the "Jackie Who?" PR challenge here at the box!  This week athletes will come to determine their baseline times, and on November 22nd they will be tested again to assess their improvement.  The November 22nd WOD will be an awesome community event where EVERYONE is invited to come watch and cheer on fellow members! Bring your family and friends to experience this top-notch community.

**Participating athletes: Your start time for the baseline evaluation is the time that you will be starting the actual WOD.  Please be there beforehand for ample time to warm-up.***

Now, something else awesome is happening the day before the community event...on November 21st, Seven Valley CrossFit will be open for ONE WHOLE YEAR.  Time really flies.  Especially when you're having fun, which we seem to be having a lot of at the box these days.  So, I'd like to ask a favor from all of you.  I'd like to know what CrossFit has done for you.  What is the BIGGEST thing you've noticed in your life that has been affected by joining CrossFit? This could be something physical, something mental, whatever.  What I want from you is:

HOMEWORK:

A quick write-up of the biggest change you've noticed since joining CrossFit.  This can be short and sweet, or as long as you think you need.  Send them by e-mail to maria.costello365@gmail.com.  As the one year anniversary approaches, I'd like to post them on this blog post.  I will post them anonymously, unless you request otherwise! There's no set "due date" but it would be nice to be able to start spreading the love in a few weeks! Thanks guys!

Run 400 M.

18 Deadlift

Love the quote Maria. I wish I didn't have such a busy schedule, I would be at 7VCF all day every day! I also heard that Coach Mike is quite a looker! I'll have to hit him up sometime

If I'm honest, my biggest change is that I feel far less compelled to drink alcohol on the regular. Being fit in general, and doing crossfit in particular, frames my diet and hydration habits differently. When I've already had a gallon of water, several healthy paleo-esque meals, and just kicked my own ass at the box, I feel zero compulsion to have a gin and tonic nightcap, which then leads to a healthier morning, another healthy day, etc.
