STRICT PRESS PALOOZA!

 

That's right, today the WOD will consist of strict presses, and a lot of them. Before we go any further I would like you to take 1 minute out of your life and watch this video:

 

 For those of you that are unable to watch it on your phone or to "busy" to watch, here are the points that you missed:

Hip width stance

Hands just outside of the shoulders

Elbows slightly in front of the bar

Full grip on the bar

Bar moves over the middle of the foot (Think about the stinky sock here, get your face out of the way)

Torso and legs static (Squeeeeeeze your booty and your belly)

Heels down

Shoulders push up and into the bar

Full arm extension

 

Now pay attention to the WOD format, it's a little tricky. Yes it is death by strict press but if you finish before the 5th minute, complete 100 burpees. If you finish before the 10th minute, complete 50 Burpees, If you finish under the 14th minute, complete 25 burpees. If you make it through round 15, you’re done! That's a hell of an incentive right? Choose your weights wisely and good luck!

 

Death by Strict Press

Perform 1 strict press the 1st minute, add 1 rep each minute until you can't continue. (95/65)
