Let's jump right into today's pre-WOD skill...hand stands! Don't be intimidated by this gymnastics movement, we're not going to have you jump right into trying free-standing handstand push ups or anything crazy.  There is a series of progressions that lead up to doing handstands, and for some it starts with simply getting upside down. 

 

 

It is sometimes a frustrating skill, but patience young padawan, you'll get it as long as you follow the progressions and take the time to master each step along the way.

 

 

You don't even need to be a jedi knight to be able to do handstands!

 

See? Dana can do it, and she doesn't use the force! Unless of course, telling us something she is not...
