Congratulations to our own in-house champion of the first Dog Days of Summer challenge...

Jean Carley!

She kicked butt in this WOD.  It was a close race, with the top 3 finishers within 6 reps of one another, and the second place only getting edged out by one rep! Congrats to all who completed the challenge, and don't forget to look in the mirror to find your new six pack.

Jean, you can pick up your Oh My Goodness Health Food Store gift card at the gym!  And to anyone who didn't get a chance to compete, don't miss out on this week's challenge!!  The WOD is 3 rounds of 60 double unders, with 1 minute rest in between rounds.  I've heard some smack talk going around the box and ALL of  you members got called out...

Show everyone what you can do!

Strength:

Front squats

Front squats are a relatively simple movement, but that doesn't mean that they are easy.  The most common thing that increases the difficulty of a front squat is lack of "front rack mobility".  For a few exercises and stretches you can do to improve your mobility, watch here.

WOD:

20 minute AMRAP:

3 Hang power cleans (105/155)

6 ring dips

9 box jumps
