It seems like these last few weeks have been just flying by because of the Open. We have been drilling technique, hitting crazy tough WODs, and ya know, just killin it in general. Lets get nostalgic for a few minutes. I want to bring you back to your first few months at Seven Valley CrossFit. You were just a baby then. Look at you now!
I wanted to bring this up because we have a lot of new faces popping up here at the box. I have to say that I am very proud of all of you "seasoned veterans" that have been members here for a while. Whenever I turn around, I see one of you helping out one of our newer members. I love the environment that we have collectively created here and I just wanted to give a big thank you to you all.
But I digress...I found an article the other day about a coach who had been trying to convince her mother to join CrossFit for a while. It took me about 6 or so minutes to read and I was laughing the whole time. The author likens her mothers journey into the CrossFit world to that of raising a child. It is absolute gold because I can guarantee that all of us have felt like this at one time or another. Please take a few minutes and read this article:
