Greetings 7VCF Nation!
We decided to be merciful during todays WOD and give your shoulders a break after all of yesterdays Strict Presses. Aren't we nice? I know that we typically wait till the end of the post to give you guys an amazing inspirational quote that relates to the WOD but this one is just too good to wait.
"Hiding from your weaknesses is a recipe for incapacity and error. The magic is in the movement, the art is in the programming, the science is in the explanation, and the fun is in the community."
-Greg Glassman, founder of CrossFit
I wanted to begin with that because we need to attack our weaknesses, not hide from them. I am confident that you all will do awesome during the WOD tomorrow so you should make your best effort to come in and ROCK it! If you haven't looked ahead of me yet and have no idea what is coming I will just cut to the chase. The WOD is running. That's it. Come in. Deal with it. Kick ass. Celebrate.
We will be knocking out a quick warm up then getting right into the WOD, so start getting yo' mind right. We will have plenty of recovery time programmed in for after the run before we get into our skill work. Here once again to help give us some mobility advice is the one and only Kelly Starrett. We will definitely be utilizing some of his techniques post-WOD tomorrow. So here is your next video installment for Mobility Week!
Running Recovery
That's all I have for you today folks, I am pumped to see you all tomorrow and ready to watch you crush your time that you got on 2 June 2014.
