Happy Monday 7VCF Family!
We hope that all of you had a phenomenal weekend and that you are ready for the exciting week we have planned! Similar to last week, the posts this week will all be centered around one main idea. The theme for this week will be...(drum roll please)
Thats right. Mobility. Fun stuff right? It always feels good and never hurts right? We always take some time during each one of our classes to address one issue or another in regards to how well we move through space. This week I will be assigning a little bit of "homework" every day and I highly suggest that you take some time out during your day to work on some of these things. As always, if you are able to come to class a few minutes early or hang out a little bit afterwords it will only help. The first assignment will consist of 2 positions:
1) Executive Hip Mobilization
2) Couch Stretch
We will be diving deep into both of these mobilizations today during class so make sure that you are paying attention so that you will be able to utilize them while you are at home or at work. Lastly, if you are able to get your hands on a lacrosse ball, baseball or softball please try to do so sometime this week. These are extremely inexpensive items that will be critical for your mobility career. Your best option would be a lacrosse ball and I believe you can find a 3 pack of them at Wall Mart for around $10.
