21 July 2015

Today is the day we've all been waiting for!! THE 2015 CROSSFIT GAMES: Who will be the FITTEST ON EARTH!?!? Of course, today is not the start of the individual men and women's competition, but it is the start of something super fricken' cool; the teen division.

This is something that will be really awesome to watch, and also probably a little ego-crushing once you realize that these teens can kick your butts.  This new teen division is a really cool addition to the games, and I think we should all give it a watch.  After all, if you haven't noticed, we're developing a bit of a teen gathering ourselves down at the box.  We have several teenage athletes who are mostly the sons and daughters of members, training to over take their parents. (and some already have!)

If you want to keep up with the games this week, click here to find out  the schedule and how to watch!

Who are your top picks for the games?!?! The struggle to make predictions this year is real because of the STACKED competition, mainly on the women's side! Watch the videos below to see just how hard it is to predict the outcome.  Of course I'm rooting for Camille, but she's got a ton of girls trying to knock her off the podium!

WOD:

21-15-9

reverse lunge from front rack

hang power snatch (75/55)

rest 3 minutes

9-15-21 jumping lunges

hand release push ups
