I'm gonna keep my mouth shut and let our members do the talking today...
"I've always been an athlete. But, I wasn't ever the star player, I wasn't always in the starting lineup or even anyone that ever got mentioned in the newspaper for scoring goals or being the most unbeatable defensive player. I practiced to get better, I suffered through the grueling rainy games and stifling hot summer gymnasiums to be part of something larger- a team. And that's what mattered. That's why I played.
After college was over, there was a hole left in my heart, the spot where teammates and love of a sport filled from the time I was 6 years old to 23. The empty hole hurt. I felt like my life wasn't complete anymore. Was I doomed to a life of running alone on the treadmill with nobody to race against? Why didn't anyone at the globo gym want to jump rope with me or even help me figure out the damn adductor machine so my inner thighs would get "toned"?
But then, Seven Valley CrossFit happened. Yea. That's right. Now, I'm back on a team. I'm not sitting on the silly leg spreader or increasing the incline on the treadmill anymore. At Seven Valley CrossFit I get to play with teammates, every time I enter the box. I talk to people, goof around and be part of something larger- a team. We suffer together, we succeed together, we live life together. Never thought I'd find anything like it to fill the hole in my heart. (Oh and here, I do feel like the STAR player and I love every second of it!)"

"For me the biggest change since I started is many things. Mainly, my confidence that I can do things I once thought I was too old to do. My health is better than it has ever been, my marriage is much happier. I could go on forever. You guys all do a fantastic job there and I appreciate you more than you know. thank you all."
