18 February 2015

I can't believe that it is Wednesday already. Where is this week going? It must be this awesome weather is making it seem like time is really flying. Guess who else is going to be flying today? YOU! That's right, you will be flying high during the WOD today. I wanted to talk to you a little bit about safety during box jumps. We all know how terrifying they can be before you get used to them. Today we will be challenging you to jump to a little bit higher of a height than normal. This means that you will have to be extra conscious of what you are doing every time that you approach the box.

If you are comfortable with the rebound technique then by all means do not be afraid to give it a shot today. For the rest of you we would prefer it if you would jump up on the box, step down, reset and repeat. This will ensure consistency and safety across all of your jumps today. After the WOD is complete today we want you all to take at least 5 minutes to cool down and roll out a bit. This will help with your recovery time and it will also make it a bit easier to walk during the upcoming days.

Here we go....

10 min AMRAP

10 KB S2OH Right Hand (53/35)

20 Box Jumps (30/24)

10 KB S2OH Left Hand

20 Air Squats
