16 November 2015

Thats right folks, Dana and I are proud to announce that classes tomorrow will be at the new location! We are officially out of 15 Salisbury Street and we have moved 7VCF HQ to 50 Main Street in downtown Cortland. Many of you remember the Sarvay Shoe store right? Well that's home for us now and we couldn't be more excited. From all of the coaches here at 7VCF I would like to thank each and every one of you for making this change possible. We genuinely could not have done this without the great community that we have here.

Now I would like to thank some people individually. I apologize in advance if I forget some of you because we had so many people show up and help out. In no particular order I would like to thank: Stephen B, Chealsea B, Fred C, Jared G, Amanda L, Jill R, Amy S, Coaches Steph, Kasey, and Ben, Jasmine R, Kyle D and Chad M. I mentioned Kyle and Chad last because we would 100% not be opening tomorrow if it weren't for them. They selflessly gave their time over last week and this weekend in order to ensure that we would be set to open. Chad even used up a lot of his vacation time in order to spend more time at the box. (I hope he used vacation time and wasn't just playing hooky....sorry if I get you in trouble buddy)

Here is a pic of what the place looked like before the action started

and after!

Obviously there are some gaps during the progress pics above and if you are curious to see how it all went down then hop onto the 7VCF Facebook or my personal one to see what was going on behind the scenes. Before I sign off and go pass out for the night I would like to mention the contractor who did a majority of the work at our new location. His name is Tim and he owns TARCAM Construction here in Cortland. He was absolutely fantastic to work with. He takes great pride in his work, he is extremely skilled and he was able to put up with a wishy washy, young, dumb kid like myself on almost a daily basis. God bless him. I would recommend him to any of you if you ever need some work done. He does commercial and residential renovations, kitchens, bathrooms, custom furniture and built in cabinetry. The guy can do it all.

Here is Tims contact info:

Well everybody I don't know how to finish except to say....thank you. From the bottom of our hearts we are so grateful to have such an awesome community behind us. If you told me 2 years ago that Dana and I would be moving to Main Street I would have told you that you were high and that you need Jesus. Seriously. When you walk through those doors this week I want you to realize that without all of YOU this never would have happened.
