Great job yesterday rocking those overhead squats guys! And big shout out to Bobcat who brought in a ton of yummy veggies to the box! It's a good reminder to us all of the great LOCAL sources of healthy food that we have here, take advantage!
As promised, I have a second reason why YOU should run the 5k on October 4th. Yesterday's reason was completion, but some of you may have already completed a 5k before. So what now? COMPETITION. The 5k is awesome because it is a shorter race (compared to a marathon or half marathon) so it is a lot more intense. We specialize in intensity here at the box, so you've got plenty of practice with it! If you know for sure that you are going to finish, then the focus becomes more about racing. Race yourself, the clock and the other competitors. Just like any WOD that we do here, you have the chance to earn a PR and compare your times with previous races.

Also, just a reminder that there is only ONE SPOT left in the next CrossFit 1.0 class. If you have friends are family who are interested, don't let them hesitate and miss out!
