WOW! What a weekend! I would like to congratulate all of our competitors that came and participated in our Unbroken Hearts V-day Competition. What a blast! We had almost everybody PR their clean and some people pushed themselves harder than they thought they could ever go. All of the coaches and staff here are truly proud of all that you accomplished on Saturday.  Keep your eye on Facebook during the next few days, I am sure that some pretty awesome pictures will be surfacing.

 

If that was your first competition then congrats and welcome to the club! Be careful, you may have thought that you were addicted to CrossFit before but now you may feel like there is a new fire burning inside you. Competition brings out the best in us and even if we don't win it is still a pretty awesome feeling at the end of the day. All of you should be proud of what you accomplished.

 

If you are planning on coming in today to crush the WOD, I have a few tips for you. Tip 1: Shave those calluses, we will be on the bar quite a bit today so make sure you do a little prep work before you show up. Tip 2: Watch This Video on knees to elbows and toes to bar. Its about 8 minutes but it is genuinely worth it. It is the same video that I watched years ago that helped me get my first T2B! Tip 3: Pick an appropriate Deadlift weight. I know that a lot of you are looking at the RX weights and thinking, "oh yea, I got this." but the truth of the matter is that this is a very high rep WOD. Do not be afraid to scale. As always, check your ego at the door. I can't wait to see how you guys do with this one today, it is going to be a fun one!
