Hi Members!
This is a difficult blog post to write, but an exciting one as well. Unfortunately, cancer, specifically breast cancer, has affected many of our loved ones and will continue to in the future. The exciting part of this though is that WE can do something to help find a cure or better treatment, right now.

Seven Valley CrossFit is participating in a Pink Outside The Box fundraising campaign to help fund research for a cure. Pink Outside The Box is the 16-week fundraising campaign for the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund of CNY. It runs thru October of this year.

The goal is to raise awareness of a disease that strikes 1 in 8 women, as well as a number of men – while raising money to fund research for a cure. All money raised stays right here in Central New York to fund breast cancer research at Upstate Medical University.

CrossFit gyms from around the area have foot the bill for special T-shirts so that 100% of the $25 cost per shirt will be donated to the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund of CNY's Pink Outside The Box campaign! Check out all the CrossFit Gyms that are participating with us!

We have various men’s and women’s t-shirts in the gym now, so if you’d like to make a donation and get a shirt, do so the next time you’re in. Just ask a coach and it’ll be done! Donations can be made via cash or check made payable to the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Fund. Thanks for helping us support this campaign! When the campaign is over, we’ll plan a day to all wear our shirts and do a special WOD in honor of those that have been affected by the disease.
