THURSDAY 170706 Bench press 3-3-3-3-3 reps Scaling this WOD Warm up thoroughly before attempting your first working set. The first set should be challenging. Try to increase the load for each set while maintaining excellent mechanics. Beginner Bench press 5-5-5-5-5 reps Watch The Bench Press from the CrossFit Journal to review points of performance. Focus on consistent mechanics, not maximal loads. Performing sets of 5 will allow for more practice reps to build technique and confidence. Intermediate Bench press 3-3-3-3-3 reps Perform as written with the intent to surpass your previous 3-rep max.
